The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry''s Standing Committee on CNG, Oil and Gas has decided to increase CNG prices by Rs1.25 per kilogram across the country from January 1.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the committee here at the Federation House on Friday, which was presided over by its Chairman Abdul Sami Khan.

The meeting thoroughly discussed the impact of the recent increase in gas prices on CNG which was about Rs1.80 per kilogram and decided to increase CNG prices by only Rs1.25 per kilogram to give relief to the public, an FPCCI statement said.
